Start & catch
Open the game, land a catch, fix a failed attempt and choose the next piece of equipment.
- Scrooms Beginner Guide: Your First SessionStart in Songkeeper’s Grove: accept Leo’s Wooden Lute, land a catch, return to Leo, then sell a catch and buy the Tamer’s Guitar. Equip the guitar in the Equipment Bag and close the bag. The opening ends with Tutorial Complete; Leo then points you toward Halden.
- How to Catch Scrooms: Tuning and Catch ControlEquip a catching instrument, start playing, tune to the Scroom and keep its marker inside the catch zone until the progress bar fills. Time inside the zone builds progress; slipping outside drains it. A tuning hit and a completed catch are separate results.
- Scrooms Controls: Inputs and InterfaceOn PC, use E for the displayed interaction and G for the backpack. Catching switches from a timed click to held movement. On touch, use the matching screen prompt and hold-and-slide gesture. Check which menu is open before treating an input as broken.
- Scrooms XP Farming: Progression and MilestonesUse quest rewards and successful catches for XP, then turn in level-gated objectives when their requirement is met. Level 25 matters early because Halden’s follow-up leads to Shax and Songtreads. There is no supported universal XP-per-hour rate for this route.
- Scrooms Chimes: Earning and SpendingChimes are the music-note currency used for purchases. Earn them through quest rewards and selling catches. At Julian’s Grove stall, choose whether to sell the held creature or the inventory, inspect the quoted amount and confirm only the sale you intend.

Instruments & songs
Compare catching tools, unlock the Ocarina and get moving with Songtreads.
- Scrooms Instruments: Equipment and UnlocksCatching instruments belong in the Equipment Bag’s Instruments tab. The Ocarina plays world-interaction songs instead. Choose an upgrade for the problem you have—control, tuning time or frequency reach—then check whether the item is sold directly or unlocked through a quest.
- Scrooms Song of Passage: Unlocking Marked GatesSong of Passage is learned by completing The Scratched Score in Sorin’s Respite. Its checked objective list includes six different catches, 25 perfect catches, two frequency targets, level 56 and a return to the wall. Play the song on the Ocarina at a sigil-marked gate to open it.
- Scrooms Songsheets: Songs and Unlock RequirementsSongs are selected from the Ocarina’s Known Songs menu and played with the displayed note buttons. Songsheets are consumable entries rather than permanently learned melodies. The Open Sesame and Songbook badges track different outcomes: opening a gate and learning five Ocarina songs.
- Scrooms Soaring Tone: Price and UnlockSoaring Tone is the in-game instrument that searches for “Soaring Tune” may mean. It appears in the Sanctum Magus shop for a recorded 35,000 Chimes. The inspected card emphasises Precision and Resonance; it has no listed passive in the community reference.
- How to Unlock the Ocarina in ScroomsFinish the opening tutorial, speak to Halden at the Grove camp, use Pay Respects at five different Weathered Statues, then return to Halden for the Ocarina. It is a song tool rather than your catching instrument. The statue checklist below gives the five landmark areas.
- How to Unlock Songtreads in ScroomsSongtreads are Shax’s movement boots. After reaching level 25 and turning in Tamer in Training to Halden, follow A Leg Up to Shax, win Quick on Your Feet and talk to him again for the reward. Activate the boots from the backpack before attempting a running jump.
- How to Get Deepchord in ScroomsDeepchord is purchased in Bluestone Caverns for a recorded 16,000 Chimes after completing Pell’s marked-stone and Answer the Machine tasks. Collect the six stone notes, repeat the machine’s sequence, then buy and equip Deepchord. Completing it earns the Runestriker objective.
- How to Get Sorin's Last Verse in ScroomsSorin’s Last Verse is the instrument at the end of Ico’s Sorin’s Respite quest chain. Complete Ilya’s four notes, Yumi’s Kitsura requests, the level-50 graffiti step, Ico’s Petaldrake turn-in and Sorin’s trial. The checked recording offers the instrument for 28,000 Chimes afterward.
- How to Get Ballad of Three Reigns in ScroomsBallad of Three Reigns is a Tall Trees instrument, not a song. The recorded Bellaume camp shop requires level 88 and completion of The Crooked Chime; Aube’s initiation asks for ten Tall Trees catches with that instrument. Reach those requirements, inspect the camp rack, pay the price shown and equip the Ballad. Friend of the Tribe is awarded for obtaining it. The Grave of the Seer, Gilded and Ember belong to a separate Bloomcall route, not the purchase method.

Scroom collection
Hunt named creatures and keep the catches that an active request needs.
- Scrooms Index: Creatures and Collection ProgressThe Index is hotbar slot 3. Each area has its own card grid and completion figure. An undiscovered species appears as a silhouette labelled ??? but can still show rarity, frequency and tone fields. A caught species fills its main card; Melodic, Harmonic and Resonant are separate entries in its Tones block.
- How to Get Gloombell in ScroomsPlay an instrument on the grass near the spawn sign in Songkeeper’s Grove until Gloombell answers, then complete the catch. It is a Common Scroom with a 30–50 Hz range. The starter-area tutorial recording shows one caught with the Wooden Lute.
- How to Get Faebud in ScroomsFaebud is a Wondrous Scroom in Songkeeper’s Grove. Play on the grass by the spawn sign; the Tamer’s Guitar is suitable. Its Index range is 37.5–62.5 Hz. Keep a successful catch if Luca’s Are fairies real? objective is active.
- How to Get Bonsaibud in ScroomsBonsaibud is an Uncommon Scroom in Sorin’s Respite. Reach the garden first, use a catching instrument there and confirm the species name on a successful catch. Keep it if Mira’s request is active: her request also involves a Crystallina from the caverns.
- How to Get Azurine in ScroomsAzurine is a Rare Scroom associated with Bluestone Caverns. Reach the cavern with Songtreads, then play a catching instrument there. The checked records do not establish a reliable frequency or a special weather condition, so identify it from the live Index and the caught name.

Quests & people
Follow a named task through its location, interaction and completion signal.
- Scrooms Azurine: Is There an Odin or Senna Choice? The checked public records do not establish a choice where you hand Azurine to Odin or Senna. Odin is visible as a named character in a Bluestone alcove, and Azurine is a Rare Bluestone Scroom. No source in this review gives Senna an in-game location, dialogue, reward or exclusivity rule. Treat an “Odin or Senna” comparison as unverified until the live quest supplies both options.
- Scrooms Quests: Objectives and ProgressionThe Quest Log is hotbar slot 4. Main Quests shows active jobs and Completed holds tasks that registered. Each entry carries a short area label. A marked objective is not always the hand-in: read the return step, and hold the requested creature when an NPC asks for it.
- Scrooms NPC Locations and RolesUse this landmark table to identify a named NPC and the task they control. It covers the 14 NPCs in the checked roster. Several entries establish an area and nearby feature rather than a precise coordinate; follow the visible name and talk prompt in your session.
- Where to Find Marcus in ScroomsIn Bluestone Caverns, climb toward the upper waterfall, follow the upper passage and drop onto the blue mushroom ledge below the falls. Jump behind the waterfall to reach Marcus, who stands near a marked stone. Talk to him to start or hand in The Pile; the checked recording shows Quest Completed: The Pile after his dialogue.
- Where to Find the Rose Petal in Scrooms“Rose petal” refers to the white rose inside the Heart of Thorns, used in Fenna’s Mantle of the Songkeeper trial. Open the thorn barrier with Bloomcall, cross the platforms, pluck the rose and return it through Fenna’s conversation.
- Scrooms Marked Stones: Locations and CompletionThe six marked stones belong to Pell’s Listen to the Stone quest in Bluestone Caverns. Start with that objective active, find the white musical-note markings and use the interaction at each. The route below groups the scaffold, mine tunnels and two waterfall caves so you can check a missing location.
- Scrooms Mantle of the Songkeeper QuestMantle of the Songkeeper is Fenna’s trial behind the Grove waterfall. Complete the basic Grove species entries, give her a Koroom, open the Heart of Thorns with Bloomcall, pluck the rose, return to Fenna and complete the recorded 5,000-Chime offering. The conversation rewards the Songkeeper title and Forest Spirit’s Lyre.
- Scrooms The Magus' Requiem QuestThe Magus’ Requiem is Iblis’s Sanctum Magus quest. Bring one Runic Sigilith, Inkling and Occulot, enter the Deep Halls, break the seal, recover the piano after finding three keys and return to Iblis. The final conversation awards the instrument Archmage’s Requiem and advances The Magus’ Heir.

- Scrooms Bluestone Caverns: Access and Area GuideReach Bluestone Caverns through Bluestone Approach with Songtreads active. Build speed and jump the gap toward the blue-crystal cave mouth. The Bluestone Caverns banner and Beyond the Grove completion confirm arrival. Inside, the entrance camp and upper mine route lead to different local objectives.
- Scrooms Sorin's Respite: Access and Area GuideSorin’s Respite is the garden reached through the cavern’s dynamite-wall quest. Find Morrissey in the mine tunnels, obtain the requested dynamite from Robert at Pickman’s Rest and return to Morrissey. The garden area is separate from the instrument Sorin’s Last Verse.
- Scrooms Map: Areas and Travel ConnectionsThe checked world list has five stocked Scrooms regions: Songkeeper’s Grove, Bluestone Caverns, Sorin’s Respite, Grave of the Gilded and Sanctum Magus. Bluestone Approach connects the Grove to the caverns. Tall Trees is a later destination, not one of the five Index regions in the current list.
- Scrooms Badges: Full Requirement ListThe checked Roblox API returns 36 enabled badges for SCROOMS. Their descriptions set the objective: catching, Index completion, quests and items, levels and time, or hidden hints. A badge is separate from a title or the task’s own quest completion; use the reward banner and your Roblox badge list to confirm receipt.
- Scrooms Titles: Known List and Verified UnlocksTitles are cosmetic labels shown under the player’s name in the player list. Open the lower-right list icon near the Store cart, choose Titles, expand a group and select an unlocked label. The known list below includes 43 names; only the stated conditions are established, and some names also appear in unrelated badge systems.
- Scrooms Release Date and Roblox AvailabilityOn 9 October 2026, the SCROOMS partner account @ripDevX announced the Roblox experience for release on 10 October 2026. The announcement gave the calendar date without a confirmed launch hour or timezone. The official Roblox page confirms the public listing; the experience’s creation and update timestamps are not release dates.
These pages explain the tasks that the supplied October 2026 material can support. Open the game’s live objective when the screen differs; prices and access can change between builds.
