Scrooms Chimes: Earning and Spending
Understand verified Chimes sources and spending choices in Scrooms, and connect your budget to an actual equipment goal.
Chimes are the music-note currency used for purchases. Earn them through quest rewards and selling catches. At Julian’s Grove stall, choose whether to sell the held creature or the inventory, inspect the quoted amount and confirm only the sale you intend.
Amounts are October 2026 launch quotes. Read the live quote before confirming; a caught creature’s frequency and variants can differ.

Sell the intended catch, then check the counter
Choose Sell Held for the creature you selected, or Sell Inventory for the pack. Julian quotes a total before you choose Deal!; Never mind… leaves the transaction unconfirmed. Check the music-note balance afterward.
A quoted 62 Chimes for an early Bluebell is one recorded appraisal. DonutExpansion’s first sale shows a different offer for his catch. Neither amount is a fixed price for every creature.
Budget for a real purchase
Scroll the table horizontally if needed.
| Opening purchase | Recorded Chime price |
|---|---|
| Tamer’s Guitar | 100 |
| Adventurer’s Tambourine | 750 |
| Violin of Pilgrimage | 4,500 |
Keep quest catches before selling a pack
Check active requests before choosing Sell Inventory. A logged Index entry and an item available to hand over are different states. Read the creature’s name and any requested prefix, then use a selective sale if you still need to carry it.
For a target purchase, subtract your current balance from its displayed price. The instrument catalogue distinguishes direct purchases from quest equipment. Deep Pockets asks you to hold 350,000 Chimes at once; that badge wording does not establish a currency cap.
