The Magus’ Requiem is Iblis’s Sanctum Magus quest. Bring one Runic Sigilith, Inkling and Occulot, enter the Deep Halls, break the seal, recover the piano after finding three keys and return to Iblis. The final conversation awards the instrument Archmage’s Requiem and advances The Magus’ Heir.

Unlock Sanctum and speak to Iblis
Reach Sanctum Magus with Song of Passage after the Sorin’s Respite chain. The creator route also fills the area Index before Iblis offers the next stage; use the live Index and conversation prompt rather than an exact level recalled from another recording.
Once Iblis’s quest is active, read its objective before hunting. The first hand-in is the three named Runic variants, not a plain version of each species.
Catch the three required variants
Bring one Runic Sigilith, one Runic Inkling and one Runic Occulot. Plain Sigilith, Inkling or Occulot are the wrong state for this hand-in. Keep the correct catches until Iblis finishes the return conversation.
Deepchord is the checked tool players use for Runic attempts. It improves the attempt context but does not guarantee that the mutation appears. Check each caught name for the Runic prefix before moving on.
Recover the piano from the Deep Halls
After the trio, the objective points to the Archmage’s piano. The recorded Deep Halls entry is 32,000 Chimes; whether a failed attempt refunds the fee is not established. Read the live panel before paying.
Use Break the Seal at the mechanism, then recover three keys in the corridors. The doors move in the recording and no complete key map is established here. Avoid the creature in the halls; it is not the missing key. After the third key, enter the final room and collect the piano.
Finish the return conversation
Return to Iblis and speak through the reward dialogue. The instrument Archmage’s Requiem is awarded on that return, and The Magus’ Heir is the badge for completing The Magus’ Requiem. Open Equipment Bag → Instruments to equip it afterward.
“Magus piano” in the user’s search refers to this same piano reward. The verified reward name is Archmage’s Requiem; do not call the item The Magus’ Requiem if the live card displays the other name.
